I'm a product designer with a background in web and brand. I care most about the gap between something that works and something that feels right. I studied architecture, which taught me that good design always offers both an opinion on how to experience it, and a hard to ignore invitation to do so.
Over the past decade I've worked in-house and agency with startups and companies like IDEO, Critical Mass, Apple, BNY Mellon, MTV.
At Honor I'm one of two designers owning 0-1 and expansion work across two connected platforms for creators and learners to collaborate and learn in an async environment.
I'm currently reading Philosophy of Walking by Frédéric Gros. Every chapter is about someone who walked to think, or thought by walking. I've always been a compulsive walker and been in awe of this natural bodily function that creates avenues for the mind. Walking is a dedication to nothing and invites your thoughts in ways I'll never understand because the point is to welcome the reset however it arrives.
